HIYA! I'm not a big fan of change these days. I just spent almost three years at the same job and in the same apartment,
and it was tough to get up and change things. After all, I hadn't lived in one house (or one country for that matter) for
so long since I was a teenager!
However, I made the move to Hongik University in Seoul this past month and spent January and February house hunting,
renovating, packing and moving. I'm happy to report that I'm pretty content in my little home in Hongdae, Seoul.
Just last night, some friends including teachers from my last job at University of California in Gangnam, faculty from
hongik, and the usual suspects came over to help me warm my new place.
What a difference a night of eating and drinking with lots of good friends can make to a new home!
I will be in Seoul working through Spring Semester until mid-June. At that time, I will take a trip to Shianghai, then
Thailand, and return to Seoul, before flying on to Canada for the Summer.
Hope your Spring comes early and your days are bright!
Glenn/Brad
